马上春节了，外教说要不放假一起去滑雪，不不不，吉米老师还是蛮怕冷的。“怕冷”英文怎么说？“怕”是 afraid，“冷”是 cold，那“怕冷”就是 be afraid of cold?
肯定不能这样说，首先看 afraid，这个词表示的是胆子小的那种害怕，比方说“怕黑”，所以“怕冷”不能用 afraid，那用哪个呢？

“怕冷”英语到底怎么说呢？吉米老师教大家一个固定表达吗，可以说 feel the cold，表示“怕冷”，这里的 the 不能丢，不然意思就成了 “感觉冷”。“怕热”也有固定表达，可以说 feel the heat，那“我怕热”就可以说 I feel the heat。
例句
I don't like winter since I feel the cold.
我不喜欢冬天，因为我怕冷。
I can't bear being cold.

“我怕冷”除了可以说 I feel the cold，老外还经常用 bear 来表达。bear 做动词是“忍受”的意思，can't bear doing something 表示“不能接受某事”，我受不了冷，意思就是“我怕冷”。同样的，“我怕热”就可以说 I can't bear being hot。
例句
I can't bear being cold, so I always wear a scarf.
我怕冷，所以总是戴着围巾。
“我不怕冷”英语怎么说？
按照上面两个表达，“我不怕冷”可以说 I don't feel the cold 或者 I can bear being cold，吉米老师还有两个表达也能很好地表达这个意思：
The cold doesn't bother me.

《冰雪奇缘》主题曲 Let It Go 里面就有一句歌词 the cold never bothered me anyway，“寒冷从不让我烦恼”，意思其实也是“我不怕冷”，不然就会因为寒冷感到不舒服啦~我们生活中可以说 the cold never bothered me，如果觉得 never 语气太强烈了，也可以用 doesn't，the cold doesn't bother me。

“我不怕冷”还可以说 I don't mind the cold，我不介意冷，我不在乎冷不冷，也是不怕冷的意思。

“饭菜凉了”英语怎么说？

变凉
家里父母经常说“再不吃饭，菜就凉啦”，食物变凉要用 go cold 或者 get cold，比方说“茶凉了”就可以说 the tea went cold，那“食物变凉了”就是 the food went cold。
