look (at)
Look:注视,专注看(强调专注);常常还用来提醒对方注意某个细节。例如:
- Look! It's snowing!
- 快看啊!下雪了!
- Look at this photo! Isn't it beautiful?
- 快看这个照片,很漂亮不是吗?
- I'm looking but I don't see it.
- 我在努力瞧,就是看不见它啊。
When we use look with an object, we say look at object
Look后要跟宾语,后面加at就可以了。
例如:
- John looked at Mary.
- 约翰注视了玛丽。
See:看见,看到(强调结果);详解:表示某个事物已映入眼帘,或许都不需思考,睁眼就可见。
例如:
- I can see a cloud in the sky.
- 我可以看见天上的云朵。
- I suddenly saw a bird fly in front of me.
- 我突然看见一只鸟从我面前飞过。
- Didn't you see Ram? He was waving at you.
- 你看见Ram了吗?他刚在向你挥手。
Watch:观看,观察;详解:需要主动积极看,看的东西往往是要移动或改变的,而不是一直静止的事物。
例如:
- I like watching motor racing on TV.
- 我喜欢在电视上看赛车比赛
- If you watch that egg for long enough you'll see it hatch.
- 如果你观察那个鸡蛋时间够长,你会看到它孵化。
watch or see for movies, concerts, TV etc?

In general, we use see forpublic performances and watch for television at home.
