Little Wolf had a nice home in a den.
小狼在一个窝里有一个漂亮的家。
The den was warm and safe.
这个窝温暖又安全。
But the den was small.
但是这个窝很小。
and Little Wolf had lots of brothers and sisters.
并且小狼有很多兄弟姐妹。
She wanted a bigger,better home.
她想要一个更大更好的家。
So Little Wolf went off to look for a bigger,better home.
于是小狼离开了这里，去寻找一个更大更好的家。
She went to see her friend,Blue Bird.
她去看她的朋友蓝鸟。
"Good morning,Blue Bird,"said Little Wolf.
“早上好，蓝鸟。”小狼说。
"I am looking for a new home."
“我在找一个新家。”
"My home is in this tree,"said Blue Bird.
“我的家在这棵树上。”蓝鸟说。
"A tree is a good home."
“树是一个很好的家。”
Little Wolf liked Blue Bird.
小狼喜欢蓝鸟。
But she did not like Blue Bird's home.
但是她不喜欢蓝鸟的家。
The tree was too high.
树太高了。
"No,thanks,"said little Wolf.
“不,谢谢,”小狼说。
"A tree is not the right home for me."
“对我来说，树不是一个很好的家。”
So Little Wolf went to see her friend,Bear.
于是小狼去看她的朋友，熊。
"Hi,Bear,"said Little Wolf.
“嗨,熊,”小狼说。
"I am looking for a new home."
“我在找一个新家。”
"Well,"said Bear.
“嗯,”熊回答道。
"A cave is a good home."
“洞穴是一个很好的家。”
Little Wolf liked Bear.
小狼喜欢熊。
But Bear's home was too dark.
但是熊的家太黑了。
"No,thanks,"said Little Wolf.
“不,谢谢,”小狼说。
"A cave is not the right home for me."
“对我来说，洞穴不是合适的家。”
Little Wolf walked on and on.
小狼走啊走。
She walked by a river.
她沿着河边走。
"Hello,Little Wolf,"said Fish.
“你好,小狼." 鱼说。
"Hello,fish,"Little Wolf said.
“你好,鱼,“小狼说。
But Little Wolf kept walking.
小狼继续走着。
She did not like Fish's home.
她不喜欢鱼的家。
The river was too wet!
河水太湿了!
Little Wolf walked all day.
小狼走了一整天。
Soon it was dark.
不久天就黑了。
Little Wolf was cold and very sleepy.
小狼又冷又困。
She thought about the warm,
她想着自己温暖，
safe den with her brothers and sisters.
又安全的小窝，和她的兄弟姐妹们呆在一起。
Little Wolf ran home.
小狼跑回了家。
"I don't need a bigger,better home,"she said.
“我不需要一个更大更好的家了，”她说。
"My home is just right!"
“我的家刚刚好!”
